Lately, I’ve been receiving a daily verse via email from Kat Davis. If you’re interested as well, you can sign up at DailyVerse.org. It’s short and sweet; a daily verse (surprise) plus a 2-4 sentence reflection. Here’s an example – plus a reflection of my own.

“Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver; instead of wood, bronze, instead of stones, iron. I will make your overseers peace and your taskmasters righteousness. ” – Isaiah 60:17

My thoughts were drawn to the transformation that occurs. From bronze to gold, iron to silver…the value is increasing. Isn’t that what we are moving toward – giving God our best rather than our second or third best?
