Forty Days of Water – Blood:Water Mission

Forty Days of Water – Blood:Water Mission

Soooooo, anyone looking for a challenge for Lent? It’d be good for us and even better for the people of Africa.

Forty Days of Water – Blood Water Mission.

You can read more about Blood:Water Mission at Christianity Today. I’m not saying that we would necessarily give to them, but the money would be given to providing clean water in some part of the world. It could even be Haiti. Let me know if you’re interested. It might even be fun to see what Bethel Church looks like when we’re not caffeinated!

I would be willing to do this except for milk. Well, I suppose I could eat cheese instead, but skim milk just seems so much healthier. Let me know if there is anyone else interested.

Hi there – thanks for sharing the challenge! We are so encouraged about the difference people are choosing to make for our friends in Northern Uganda through the 40 days of Water campaign. I too will struggle without my cup of coffee, but I know it will make a bigger difference in the lives of those without water than it will in my world.
Thanks for sharing your story and for your encouragement!

WOW! This couldn’t have come at a better time! I’d been looking for a good reason to get healthy – looks like this could be it. Sometimes it’s difficult for me to do something just because it’s good for ME. But doing it for someone else, now that’s more of a do-able challenge. I just dumped out my coffee, GREAT IDEA – I’M IN!!!
